Welcome Beginner Students
Welcome New Students to WongPeople Kung-Fu. Primary focus of Kung-Fu is to build and retain skills for lifelong benefits for ourselves, our family, and our community. The mindset of problem-solving is invaluable in any situations and social environments that requires resolve and results to achieve a noble goals. The Kung-Fu is the vehicle and curriculum to guild our path to achieve and inspired high and honorable objectives.
WongPeople offers two classes online each week for Children/Adults to enable participation to improve their quality of life.
Each class begins and ends with a bow. Bowing is a symbol of dignity, understanding, courtesy and respect to the Kung-Fu teachings and heritage of learning.
Each class will start with Warm-Up exercises. After warm-ups class continues with Stretches which helps relax and prepare the body for more vigorous practices. After stretches end Stance Practice begins, due to limited online time 2 or 3 stance will be covered per class period. The instructor will demonstrate correct stance position and stance name.
After stance practice, Hight intensity Round simulation of power moves, cardio and fighting techniques to be applied for 6 to 7 round intervals.
After the 6 to 7 round the class is divides into room pairs online for Form training to learn beginning form’s techniques starting with introduction. Learning new skill and acquiring new abilities takes time and will be difficult. However, with patience and consistently working on the basics, success is inevitable. Other activities like sparring, lion dancing, weapon training will eventually happen with patience and consistently working on the basics. Again, Welcome to WongPeople Kung-Fu, your adventure has just begun.
